I noticed a considerable LACK of football threads in this forum so I decided to make one.
Questions!
What team to you support?
Who will win Euro 2004?
Who will win the Champions League this season?

Well, my question wouldn't be a question at all, it would be a slap because football is off season, so that would be why there is a lack of football threads...
That is all.

No, it's near the end of the season, about 5 games to go in the EPL, semi finals to be played in the Champions League and the FA Cup final between Man United and Millwall is still to take place.
So no, it's not "off season".

In America it is off season. I'd wager that 80% Of the people on these boards are American.
Yeah. I went there.
That is besides the fact that the EPL blows the biggest of monkey nuts. Period.

Soccer players are 10-times better atheletes than football players.......but for some reason I'd still rather watch football. 0_o
I support the cowboys.

And I am more than sure the cowboys will win this one.

I support Liverpool FC. Proud of it, even if results have been sucking very much lately, but we're still holding down fourth place.
I think France or Netherlands will win Euro 2004.
I think La Coruna will win the Champions League.
Who do you support?

Heh, I forgot to fill this out for myself.
I support Brentford.
Dunno who will win Euro 2004, hoping England!
Chelsea will easily win the Champions League.

Brentford, hm, how are they doing? Do you get to attend any of the games?
Kevin

Soccer is boring. Yes, the players are more athletic, but there is no variety in the game. In football, there are so many different situations that can take place.

1 place above relegation in division 2 with about 4 games to go. I never get to attend any games, being so far away and everything.

What two better it?
I think the league rankings go something like this;
1. English Premiership Division
2. La Liga
3. Serie A
4. Everything else.
Okay, soccer bashers - stay the fuck out.
Anyway, I'm with PA on Euro 04.

I think the Serie A definately. Maybe La Liga.
I paid for the Liverpool game today, why oh why do I persist on spending £600 a season going to Liverpool games? I wish I knew, I was in the Kop today; the stand Gerrard was shooting against when he missed the penalty. He still got man of the match, though. Kewell missed from 4 yards out.

Haha, I was hoping for a Fulmham win, or at least some goals. I've got Malbranque on my Fantasy Football Team and I desperately need some points.
£600 is ridiculous man. I used to be able to get into Brentford for a fiver.
Tommy

I haven't even got a season ticket, it's cheaper to pay seperately every week. I love my team, and I'll still be going to the games. Next up, Manchester United, should be fun.

Freddy Adu, rumour has it that he's really 17, and he looks a lot older than 14, so that rumour is justified. Rumour also has it that big Premiership clubs have already offered him a contract for when he is older.
Yes, I play Championship Manager.

He definitely looks older than 14. I would say 18. It just seems impossible that it would be legal for him to sign a contract for 100,000 dollars at that young of an age. I saw him score a goal the other day though. He is good enough to play, but I dont believe he's 14.

Having our last 5 games in the league unbeaten is lucky? Two of those games against Newcastle and Manchester United? I don't think so. We deserved that fourth spot.
