Apparently the plethora of triple-A title announcements and jaw-dropping screen shots from SGD '07 drew up a fervor of PS3 interest for UK customers. Amazon.co.uk listed the PS3 as the coveted "most popular item." In comparison, the Xbox 360 Premium console is listed at number six, with the DS Lite "Black" at number five and the Nintendo Wii at number eight. With all the excitement over the last few days, it's good to see the PS3 install base growing with some praise and much-needed attention. So, have you hugged your PS3 today?

seriouslly how many people
are waiting watching some sites to watch trailers
form event like gamer's day ?! don't think that it
will have so much impact on sales.
hardcore gamers alread have known that ps3 will have great games.
and the rest will understand it when the games will be out.
when tehere will be tv ads etc.

PS3 is like #40 on Amazon US, not a good sign considering its usualy in the top 20.

Now imagine if instead of a few trailers, a few demos or actual games had been released these days.

^That might help. Might.
:P
Hope it happens sooner than later! Come on E3 and releases! Hurry the ***k up!
Well, now the 360 is at number 4 and the PS3 is at number 8. Hasn't it been said before that the "Hourly updated" bestsellers on Amazon hold little value?

Well it shouldn't [edit - hold much value at all,] it's definitely only extremely short term. Only something sustained would mean anything.
I think a ton of 'average' titles and a good crop of AAA's to paste posters of and put on the wall of stores would be more helpful and meaningful lol.

Not a good sign at all.
But PS3 is pretty much popular across europe.

Lol, I actually have a shirt (I got from thinkgeek.com) that says: "Keep on Fscking"
I get so many second and third looks.
People ask, and I just say: Its computer jargon, you wouldn't understand. :1337:
