It is very good to be this reclusive author right now. His latest novel, The Road, just scored a Pulitzer Prize and he did his first TV interview ever with Oprah and it was actually quite insightful. He's a well-spoken, interesting man who has a deep passion for the Southwest, which is where many of his books are set. In addition, No Country for Old Men, the 2005 novel, is going to be a movie released in November by the Coen Brothers, and it garnered major praise at Cannes. Other novels include his Border Trilogy, Blood Meridian, and Suttree. He's not an easy read, but he is definitely worth your time.
