Bush has funding for 6 months I believe. He didn't propose a declaration of war to congress, didn't consult the UN formally either. It's kind of an abuse of power, but okay... or wait, maybe he did formally consult congress?

He did talk to Congress. They thought about it less than Turkey did, but they still approved it.

It'll take either 3 months, or more than a year. If the US breaks into Baghdad right away, the war will be over quick, if not, it'll be a decently long war.

Baghdad will slowly be turned into a smoking hole..

I don't think this will last more than three months, at least for the actual war. The reconstruction itself will take a prolonged us commitment, however.

2 years. Iraq won't go as easy as many of you think, remember they still have a crapload of crazies with chemical weapons.
