Who else remembers ska? I Just recently got back into the genRe after a loooooong absence, and I feel ashamed!
I`ve never felt so in tune with a genre than I have with SKA! I BroKe out all my old albums, including my Five Iron Frenzy albums and stuff from The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
why do really good genres just seem to dissappear after really good runs? I havent heard ska on the radio in ages.............
Anyone else agree?

Good genres don't disappear, hence why Ska did. I'm just kidding around man, if you like ska, that's your preference, my liking of ska is only three bands deep.
1. Reel Big Fish
2. Goldfinger
3. Less Than Jake(Not their new stuff though)

i love all the old ska stuff, not a huge fan of the third wave stuff though, like what has been listed. i guess ska is still alive, just not in its original form. but then, that is the case with a lot of genres.

Ska makes me feel perky.
One time I was in Michigan and there randomly was some Battle of the Band things for like local high school and college kids and one of the bands was a ska band and I was like "=-o Sweet!" So, anyway, that story was pointless, but yes, ska is fun.

Ska is fun and upbeat, but you can only listen to so much of it.

You enter cheerleader mode when you listen to ska.

I saw Reel Big Fish a couple months ago. Well, I saw one or two song then left. I really only went to see Streetlight Manifesto.
