Connection to PSN timed out.

My internet works on both my PC and PS3, but my PS3 fails to sign into PSN evertyime I try(today at least).
Anyonelse having issues? (and/or) Who all has signed in today sucessfully?

I used to have a hard time connecting. I had the 'error' with a long number. it tunred out that my uTorrent was sucking all of my bandwidth. now I just shut it off when ever I want to log in on PSN.

do you have other machines using your connection while trying to go online with PS3?

my roomate may or may not be using torrent.......i don't know.
He's at the lake today.

SpeakEasy currently shows the following(for my PC):
Download - 5070 kbps
Upload - 1749 kbps

[EDIT] nvm - after logging out/in about 50 times, it finally signed me in.
(maybe my roomy's d/l completed)

well i decided not to download it(vi aproxy), even tho9ugh no one has yet to be banned.
but it is confimred that eu people cna downalod and play it....

When I have trouble connecting on a console, I usually unplug the Ethernet cable (if you have a hardwire). If you are on wireless, try shutting down and restarting your router. That usually works for me if it's something simple causing the problem.

ive only had PSN timeout once about 2 days ago actually. but it went straight in next go.

I could imagine that one importand port was blocked because of the dl.
