In fact, this is their 3rd time being listed in the 10 in a row.

I posted it in that R&C thread but it seems nobody took notice
This is what Game Informer posted too:
Insomniac Games today announced that for the third-straight year the company has been recognized as being named to the “50 Best Small & Medium Sized Companies to Work for in America” list. For 2007, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has placed Insomniac 8th in the small companies category. Insomniac Games is the only company in the history of the small business category to earn a Top 10 ranking for three-straight years, remains the first and only videogames developer included on the list, and is the only company in the “TV, Film and Video” category to be recognized this year. The rankings were announced before an estimated audience of 15,000 at the SHRM 59th Annual Conference & Exposition in Las Vegas.
I sent in an e-mail earlier today to ask Insomniac about this random Ratchet & Clank product I had heard about (called a YoYo, and it has what appears to be a PSP Headphones plug on it and it's...I dunno how to describe it but it's not a yo-yo ), and I also gave them my personal congratulations on this honor since I know they genuinely read the e-mail they get and they're cool enough to respond and appreciate that kind of stuff. I love the example Insomniac is setting here and I couldn't be happier for them -- visiting their studio was one of the coolest experiences in my life! :-D

My friend just got a job there last year. He's working on Ratchet and Clank. I talk to him on facebook about it. Haha. He said he's able to live in Cali and pay his student loan bills no sweat.

What if we add a car battery and testicle-sized clamps to the equation?

Please say "free college-level education" instead. Europe owns for some things.
But, back on topic... Uh, that's good for Insomniac, huh?

School yes, University depends.
In Germany, since half a year ago, most "counties" (Bundesländer, like Baden Württemberg) have introduced study fees. They are "mere" 500€ per term (1000€ per year), but usually, students over here (at least in the technical classes) have very little time to go to work beside studying. So either you make debts (there are "special" study debts with ~7% interest) or your parents have to cough em up (luckily my mom earns more than enough to pay these for me).
BUT, the law that introduced those fees is against some NATO and EU/UN laws. There are many lawsuits now against Universities and the government to stop the fees. I am also participating in this (thru "military draft" (every guy "capable" of military either must do public service or military for 9 months) I "lost" one year of free studying and draft law says, I mustnt have any disadvantages thru my service... I am pretty sure, we will win this lawsuit!)
I cannot say anything about the rest of Europe, though I seem to remember the situation in France is pretty similar (no school fees but university)

There are both public and private universities in Spain as well, for many years already. The public ones aren't totally free (or maybe some are?), but close enough.
