Something about this video has me less interested than before...And how does singing in these games work? Do you need to have a decent voice or pitch?

Well they know people who can't sing are going to want to play through the game on Vocals so I doubt having a decent voice or pitch is critical. it looks like you raise or lower your voice according to how the blue lines at the top move and hold each note for as long as it tells you to.

and I guess we can add Welcome to the Jungle to the track list.

I assume voice will be jsut like in Karaoke Revolution, since Harmonix made that too and the interface is exactly the same.

Yes, you have to be on pitch, but depending on the difficulties, it'll give you decent leeway. If you suck at singing, throw it n easy and you can get away with whatever. Put it on hard, and if you aren't spot on, you'll suck.

Yea there is a pedal for bass drum. But I was kind of interested in getting the drums, but that looks so lame. I don't know if i'll be getting them now.

This video is nowhere near official. Originally it apparently wasn't even supposed to be on the internet. Here's the story:

"Hey all,

The video of a trailer you may have seen on various sites was taken from a conference where attendees are generally encouraged to be casual and show off the new stuff they are working on privately. Unfortunately, an attendee broke the conference rules and videotaped the talk. The trailer was made from an old build of the game quite some time ago for internal purposes- basically to get people working on the game excited. The song was one we have considered for the game but haven't locked down, and you may have noticed that the trailer footage was made so long ago that the people in the video are playing old instruments and prototypes. I guess what I am saying is- this isn't official and doesn't really reflect the final game at all. We'll be releasing a lot of info next week from much newer builds of the game with finalized songs.

So this isn't close to the final version, and this song is not 100% confirmed yet.

I found that message at IGN, along with a video description on youtube. The instruments won't look the same and the game on screen is in early development. Welcome to the Jungle isn't even official yet. So take all of this you hear right now with a grain of salt, until next week.

To sum this post up in a few words: Fuck this game.Those are called cymbals.

What would you expect the thing to be? A full-sized, 700 dollar electronic drum set? According to the description, the four "drums" will change their uses based on the song itself. They can't maintain perfect realism, just like the guitars.

I think the drums look fun. It's just that everything else looks like more of the same.

However, not being official, I'm glad to know that the new guitar model is still likely to happen (with the 2 areas of the fret board). But still, I'm afraid this game will be horribly expensive, and considering that all the parts will be sold seperately (or likely will) it will be hard to find people with certain instruments.
