I'll explain myself. I am not a fan of Slash, I think he's a great guitarist, but I am sick of seeing and hearing him. I also hate GnR, although admittedly, I think they'll be among the most fun to play in GH. I just wish they would use somebody similar, but not actually make it Slash...

I dont see or hear him very often to be honest. I am not the biggest fan of GnR but alot of that stems from Axl Rose's voice more then anything. I like the idea of having Slash, but it does seem kinda ridiculous that they arent using someone similar as well... who was the guy that got the Top Hat in GH2?

I don't think there's any ACDC and that black guy looks too much like Jimi Hendrix, but Eric Clapton seems possible, even there's no announced Clapton or Cream songs.

Putting Slash in here is the equivalent of putting Sonic and Mario in that Olympics game: we all know he's awesome, but he's just out of place.

I think if they insist on putting bosses in this game that are real people, they should probably be famous for solo work rather than just members of famous bands like Slash. Being my three favorite guitarists, it's no secret that I'd love to plastic guitar-duel the digital likeness of Batio, Malmsteen and Vai, but Clapton and Hendrix would be very well-received as well.

EDIT: Speaking of Eric Clapton, when I was at the dentist I heard the unplugged version of Layla on the radio. It hurt my soul a little.

But the point is he looks very similar to a real guitarist. Just like they had a lookalike for Hendrix. Most characters in the game are based off of a real-life counterpart.

Clive Winston went from being a badass in GH1 to complete suck in GHII. Judy Nails is awesome at least.

Yeah, but izzy sparks has blonde hair, no sunglasses,his top hat is white, he dances around a lot, and the top hat is his secondary costume anyways.

i usually go with Clive, but i've used about every other character because i've gone through each game about five times. I really hope the new one is as cool as the first two. The set list is awesome so far, and that whole boss battle thing should be awesome.
