Silent Hill - I thought this movie was flat-out amazing. Sure the acting is questionable and the story can get confusing but that's just the thing...this movie is ONLY for fans of the series. Any fan of horror movies will definitely appreciate it, but the movie mirrors the games so perfectly, only the fans will be able to appreciate it. - B+

I saw the movie and I look at it from both the gamer and the average movie goers view--that is the movie goer who would see this other than the videogame fan, and that is the horror fan. I would say as a horror movie this is just a 5/10 movie, as I honestly didnt get scared at all, but rather there wer esimply tense moments. I know there were parts of the movie that could get scary, I know a lot of women who saw it and totally freaked out, but if you are used to the games, it isn't even half as scary as them.

The story can be confusing, but if you sit down and think about it, you will pretty much figure it out. The best part of it though, is it does come very close to the actual Silent Hill games, and it is surprsingly close to how the games actually are. What is the best part though? Look no further to any damn scene with Pyramid Head.
