When I got my current cell phone, I found out that it does bluetooth. Nifty, but not that useful for me, I thought. Bluetooth headsets aren't generally as loud as the others, and I need a nice loud headset. I'm not going deaf - I just end up on the phone in the car a lot, and rental cars can be noisy.
Well, this weekend, I picked up a USB bluetooth thing for my laptop, and found out that I could pass Mp3s over to my phone for ringtones. You have to get them in just the right format for some phones, and you have to watch the length - 30 seconds is usually good. It took some doing, but I managed to get the Halo theme into the right format, and now it's my ringtone. The music I went with was the part the monks sing while you're on the menu, and it just happened to be about 30 seconds long.
Anyway, if anyone wants a copy, I can probably send you the Mp3.
