Holy friggin awesome, Batman. If I didn't suck so bad at real-time strategy games, I'd be all over this one. I'm just glad they included Spartans. Not having them would be pretty much unforgivable.

I'm quite split on it. They told the C&C mod developers that were making the Halogen mod to stop (after they'd been working hard for three years) then go and make this. It's understandable considering it's their own franchise, but really they could have at least included Halogen as an extra or something instead of shutting it down.

It's a nice trailer, but I would've liked to have seen some gameplay footage in there.

Do we know for sure that they weren't planning on doing this themselves later on, even at that point? I mean, Bungie has great experience with real-time strategy games...
