I'm not sure this warrants it's own thread but I have in my hand, a genuine PS3 Blu Ray demo disk. It's definitely a first.
This was one of my ten reasons why PS3 would be great, every month you'd get 25GB of movies and demos through the mail. 25GB of interviews, 1080p movies, pop videos, free sample anime. It's quite nice to see this partially true.
It's a real 25GB BD, it's not a DVD. Comes with 4 demos, all of which you've played but if nothing else I can delete them off my HDD now, and it's a fine start.
Added to the precious collection of PS1/PS2 demo disks that stretch all the way across my games room.
Good stuff, I think these demo disks are going to get much much better. And since everyone in NZ is on a 5GB quota and can't download 25GB a month, essential!
And just like the games it's region free, running it on my fancy pants US PS3.
Demo disks just can't be beat, it's a living playable history of video games going back to 1996. Rather pleased with this.
