Cillian Murphy, Chris Evans (Cellular, Human Torch in Fantastic Four, etc), and some badass looking special effects and a unique story all mean this movie should be awesome.

To give a basic description, the year is 2050+ and the sun has been slowly dieing, throwing the Earth into an ice age. So a desperate attempt is made to basically throw a nuclear bomb into the Sun to reignite it. This is that journey on the space ship sent out to do that.

That trailer shows maybe a little too much, but i dont care. I love that music too. Looks good, should be coming out this Friday for some of yall in the US, and releases everywhere in the US on July 27th. Released almost everywhere else already.

Also, the director is Danny Boyle who also did 28 Days Later and Trainspotting.

Fundamentally, this plot seems strangely similar to the laughable bad movie 'The Core'.
My roommate and I might watch it sometime just for the sake of mockery.
Deep down though, I'll be thinking of Space Odyssey.

Also, I kinda wish people would stop using 'Lux Aeterna' as trailer music.
It is absolutely perfect when originally used in Requiem For A Dream, but every time a variant is used in another trailer, bit by bit it loses it's effect.
Also, it serves as a reminder how great a film Requiem is.
