But anyway, Warhawk is $40 now on blu-ray? i thought Sony said $60:

no biggie. although it would be better to start a new thread on somehting solid. :)

as for the price; I am more interested in the PSN price more so than the hard copy one, to be honest. although I want the headpiece, my geographic location is more in need of digital distribution than that. I'll just get one for a cell phone shop. but I'll wait and see.

that head set is sold for around $20. I don't know how much it costs now.

by the way, I am curious at how much SOCOM cost when it was bundled with the official headset on PS2? although WarHawk has a Bluetooth one, the price might be indicative.

as Sony said; their downloadable games aren't just those simple cheap quick arcade games that look like they were made for cell phones. look at digital distribution on PC in networks like D2D, Steam and others, you download full PC games digitally. you can get WoW, C&C3, Half-Life 2 and others that way. Sony said this early on that they have no space or price limit on their PSN games. EA could make Madden 08 fully on PSN if they wish. :)

did they talk about the frame rate? I only remmeber that it is 1080p- which is amazing in of itself considering what it does with same-system-multiplayer and online.

Could be a deal if the game is only 40, cuz I mean, it sure as hell doesn't cost 60 bucks to manufacture a bluetooth headset, or even 40. Probably costs ten bucks to make one. So if you're cutting out certain levels of wholesale/retail/middlemen, it keeps the price down, so..who knows. Games don't need to be 60 bucks, or even 50 for that matter, so it's all about perceived value.

I saw the Gamespot E3 stuff (with R&C, LBP, Uncharted etc.) and there was a dev from Warhawk (dont remember the name) and he said the game will be 40$ including the bluetooth headset.
