So far, it has been kick ass. She wanted a Honda Element, but those are a little more expensive with all the features she wanted.

Right now I am thinking about buying myself a Mini Cooper.

Tiburon? Oh, we refer to them as the Coupe in the UK. It's actually a very, very decent car for the money I've heard. Looks the part as well! :)

Yeah, I guess the 2007 edition is the best they have ever done though it isn't hard since Hyundai for a long time has been trying hard to enter the 'underground import' scene and continuously been laughed at.

not bad, its a bit thirsty for a 2.7L V6 (im guessing you guys have the same engine in the states as we do). Hyundai quality is catching up with japan, its just the image you have to worry about....but a nice car nonetheless.

In the U S of A we get the option of a V6 (GT) or a 4 banger. I test drove one a few years ago, it was nice but waaaay to small for me (I'm 6'2) Ended up with the Mazda 3

I want the Mazda Speed3(if we are talking best bang for your buck).

Yeah, I've always thought the Tiburon has been a pretty cool looking car.

I think the 07 looks particularly cool.

Too bad she didn't opt for the Tidal Blue. I like that color on that model.

My buddy got a tiburon the year they switched to that body style. It's been in the shop about once a month.

Nice.
I dont hear much about coupes over here. I like it, but over here you could probably get something nicer second hand, about a year old for the same money.

yeah, that'll always be the case. Unless you're planning to keep a car for life, you're better off buying a 2 year old car with a year left on the warranty - usually it'll cost 2/3 of that of the equivalent new model, depreciation on cars is that bad. And korean cars aren't helped by their poor reputation.

and finacially if you only want to keep it for a couple of years.

i forgot with car model it is over here. but if you buy it new. as soon as you drive it off the forecourt you lose £10,000 instantly through depreciation.

Its the same with every car, the very second that you drive it off the lot you get a huge depreciation hit. As for buying it new, i dont know how the warranty is in Europe, but in the States Hyudia boosts a 10 "it breaks, we fix it" warranty on new models which is very nice.

yeah plus roadside assistance anywhere at anytime is guaranteed and a lot of other neat incentives.
