Gaming Website Problems...

Whenever I log onto Gamespot.com the website never loads properly. I've tried using Firefox and IE7 yet neither works. This is the only website I have problems with. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any settings I should tweak?

I've seen stuff like that before.

Try clearing anything you might have cached for that site. Close browser, go back and check.

Hmm, gamespot is loading incredibly slow for me. I am going to guess the problem for you:

The browser sets a time limit for waiting for the page to download. This time limit expires before the browser gets the full HTML document and images, leaving it with half the web page code, which it tries to display.

Site loaded fine for me but I did get an odd light blue background instead of the usual black.

I clear my cache every night before logging off. I almost never go to gamespot.com but I've been after some videos that they only seem to have. Khaos has an interesting theory that might actually be causing the problem. I will have to say that the problem seems to be with gamespot.com's website and not my connection. I've got a cable line with solid connectivity. I used to never have this problem with them.

If anyone else has other suggestions I'ld be happy to hear them.

UPDATE:

I managed to navigate my way through the gamespot.com mess and find the Help Section where I was able to find the answer to my problems. I've got a healthy hosts file with about a thousand or more entries to protect myself that is the malware, spyware, pop-up riden, virus infested world wide web. Turns out all I had to do is delete the entry "image.com.com" and bingo! Everything runs as smooth as a freshly sandpapered ass (made of wood of course.)
