Come on Down! (http://www.reuters.com/article/entertainmentNews/idUSN2338625820070723)

I don't think its a bad choice at all. He's a very cool guy and is no stranger to hosting television shows. Yeah, I could think of a few better guys, but I'm satisfied with the decision.

I think he'd do a good job.

I haven't been keeping up with who was in the running for taking over but he'll do fine.

Just so long as he keeps doing Whose Line Is It Anyway as well.

I like that show. Too bad it is totally scripted.

But then again, so is everything else on TV, so I'm not complaining.

I really like Drew Carey, and although I am really sad to see Bob Barker go, I think he's gonna be a good replacement.

How dare you make such a false accusation upon the gods of improv.

Despite what some think, it's not scripted. There is structure, obviously, but absolutely no script. I know people who have been to the tapings. How can they script what an audience member suggests they do a scene about?

Drew's a good choice, but I would have perfered Mario Lopez.

I saw Drew Carey and his Improv All-Stars. About a year or two ago they were in Sault St. Marie Michigan. It was Kathey Kinney (spelt wrong.. but MiMi on drew carey show) and most of the cast.. including Chip, Colin, Greg Proops... no Wayne or Ryan tho.

And there is absolutely no way it's scripted. I agree that it is structured (I did an improv show at my school that had bits scripted and bits just structured.. but improv was NOT scripted)... it needs to be structured.

They weren't scripted. Trust me.
And during the tapings (when the show still aired), they actually did some of the games time after time after time and only aired the funny things. Obviously everything wasn't funny, but enough was funny enough to keep the audience happy and the show funny.

I hope Drew does it. I like him a lot.

(And even for Laura Halls age.. OMG she was SOOO gorgeous in person...)

They should've staged a boxing tornament where you had to beat up Bob Barker to get the job.
but if that happened he'd still be the host.

Drew is a good choice and I think will do the show justice.

wait, isn't he already hosting "The Power of 10"?

I guess it's feasible seeing as they're both aired on CBS...

Improv is obviously not scripted.
My girlfriend loves doing that, and she sometimes make me do it.
Fuuuun though!

Anyways, I've always been a fan of Drew, and he'll definitely do a fine job.

But B. B. is always numero uno!
