Alright, as many of you know, this will become a heated forum with pro- and anti- war views clashing. I ask of you to try to be respectful to one another, and keep the personal attacks to a minimum. If you feel that someone is stepping over the line, feel free to post a link to the topic here, or PM it to myself, a super mod, or admin - whomever is online.
It is possible that myself, or another person of power, may "over step" the boundary. If I were to become too involved, I would like to publicly state that someone else should be put into power. But as for now, I have no plans of doing so. This forum is here to learn more about what is going on, and to stay updated.

Yeah, I agree with these rules. I'm be kinda modding these forums so we'll have one pro-war and one anti-war person.
I'll also try not to overstep my boundaries and let you guys argue.

Nathan's quote - how does the Australian prime minister not putting this war to a vote or debate of any sort help 'our freedom'?
(Just a side note - how does pre-emptively attacking another country:
1. Protect your freedom? (Oh yeah the patriot act did a great job of that.)
2. Since when is Iraq 'America's piece of ground'?)
I personally like the quote:
War, what is it good for?
Stopping ourselves from having those pesky 'elections'!
But 100% seriously now, I have no real opinion on the war. I simply take the opposing side of other people to ensure they know what they're talking about.

ohhh..anony that is a pretty powerful view..you opose their arguments to make sure they know what they are tlaking about.
Kind of like me...i argue everything.
My main quote (from me!!)
is that i would much sooner trust the word of a government than of a protestor.

Holy shit, Cummings said that he'd trust the government. Scary..
Alright, this is good. Adam, you're doing well, and I appreciate David's initiative. I'll keep an eye on this myself, but it isn't as out of control as I thought it would be. Thank you for not resorting to name-calling.
