Surprised no one has set this up yet, so I have taken the honor!
It's that time of year again. Time to suit up and play some football (fantasy style). Looking for about 12 members, but we can increase it to 14 or 16 if we have the demand for some serious fantasy players.
We are staying with Yahoo since they are easy and free. You will need to have a Yahoo user account. To sign up, navigate to This Link (http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/register/tos?league_id=282421&password=omega)
If the link fails, go to http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1. Click the "Sign Up Now" or "Get Another Team" button and follow the links to "Join a Custom League". When prompted, enter the League ID# and password below.

Wolf, if you don't mind going over the scoring system and make sure certain positions don't have an unfair advantage.
In the past, QB's could easily score more than 3 other players and last year kick returners ate points like Wheaties. Boosting the defensive numbers could make things much more interesting since Yahoo scores like red headed step children.

Yeah, I toned the scoring down this year and did it like other leagues I play....

I'm in and this year I would prefer it if players didn't get any point for kick/punt returns but that may just be me.

Agreed. Even though Return Yards in the past have helped me pull off some wins, I like leagues without them best.
Return Yards = 0 points this year

DAMN!!! Just when i was bout to get Devin Hester "sigh"
Touchdowns still count. Also, Hester is a defensive player and there are no spots for him.

HAHA no see Hester no longer plays Defense (Cuz lets face it he wasn't the best corner back if u watched Reggie Wayne catch over him then speed by him for a TD in the Pro bowl) Check it out

ummm i doubt that his speed and field vision is nothing short of amazing...the only reason he might not score 6 is because teams will kick away from him....im a titans fan....we had a good kick returner but he was a retard ...

Just a reminder...
The Draft is this FRIDAY. Yahoo sent me an email this weekend saying that our draft date was changed, but the time is still the same. Live drafts are fun, so do try to be there. If you cannot make it, make sure you set your lineup so you get the players you want - or else you will get Vick.
We also only have 9 teams. Let's see if we can get a full league and get 12. Just need 3 more people. All of you wanting to play, but just forgeting at the end of the day to sign in, this is your last chance.
Other than that, let's get this season going!

Yeah, I thought so too. I sent an email, but I don't know if it will make a difference.
I went to change it back to the original time/date, and Saturday is greyed out. Friday it is....unless it changes back...?

Live draft is tonight!
If you cannot make it (due to the random date change - thanks Yahoo) then make sure you set your auto-lineup so it will draft the players you want.
This is also the last change before you can no longer join up. We do have room for 2 more teams if anyone is interested, but you have to move quickly.

I have him in another league with the same scoring system. 2 ints, 1 fum, and 0 tds. Worst of all, my opponent was playing Wayne also...and still worse my opponent was my wife.

She does not play around. She was league champ in '05.
It was originally a league with her friends from Syracuse, I was invited in the league last year.

I'm hoping Winslow does something tomorrow, because I almost started Clark instead, and he had 5.
