I am gonna get a personal cd/mp3 player soon and don't know anything about mp3's. Can you guys tell me about them, and are they expensive, and can you get like 500 songs on one? And is it easy to burn them, thanks

They are not expensive anymore. I don't think you will get 500 songs on one cd. It is very easy to burn them as well. They are smaller music file format. Windows media player automatically makes the files mp3 I think.

You have nothing to worry about.

Depending on what your mp3 player part holds, you could hold up to 15 songs (a good size CD quality) or up to 5,000 (I hardly doubt yours will)
Mine can hold 15, used to hold 45, I gotta stop dropping it.

I think he means cd/mp3 player. Are you talking about a real mp3 player? Not sure.

I think the mp3's may be slightly less, you will never notice.

save up 500 bucks [or 1000, whatever your currency is] and buy an iPOD, most useful thing i have ever bought. i got a 20gig one and i got like 3370 something songs and three gig left to use as a memory stick whick i shove aheap of pictures on. it was really expensive but its so worth it... if you have 3000 songs worth of cds ^_^

I was talking about a real mp3 player. But they have CD/Mp3 combos that will act as an mp3 player and a CD player as well. It's all too complicated now a days.

Your MP3 player sucks. It has no back and is only 128mb. It sucks a lot more batteries as well.

I get 48 hours of playback on 1 AA battery for my MD and its almost 3 years old. The newer ones can play up to 96 hours from what I know.
