I've been off from PC gaming for some 18 months now and know my setup is starting to get a little weak for any new games.
OK the situation is I don't want to spend tons of cash, I have a relatively good, high ATX case and good enough PSU.
Now what I do need is a new mobo, processor, probably memory and an effective GFX card. Old one is a pimped Nvidia 6800GT.
So, any suggestions for good bang for the buck is greatly appreciated! I'm a bit out of the loop so to say...

Well if you want spankin new your going to want a dx10 card which is going to run you quite a bit. Though I had a rig I made in class (we had so much to spend and just went online and wrote down the parts and prices). I will look for that sheet tomorrow I think it might be in my car if i still have it.
You should be able to get everything you need pretty cheap from newegg though. 2GB of ram is not too much now. Mobo you can get for a decent price, videocard depends. I would wait for better cards to come out for dx10 if you want to go that route. Otherwise I would go with an Nvidia geforce 7900 GT if you can get one cheap there are those offbrand cards.

Well it depends on your budget. Seeing you live in Finland, I'm not quite sure about the prices. But if you want to get a decent upgrade, I'll get the upcoming Intel Penryn (The better Quad), a x38 motherboard, and prob a 320MB 8800 GTS equivalent of the geforce 9 series. All of these products should be coming out this year. Also you might want to add Vista if you want dx10 goods.
