I seriously need help from anyone, especially NukeBlaze. Yesterday while my sister was on the computer we got viruses. I thought it was just adware and spyware so i ran adaware. Adaware picked up a lot of things, and when i tried to delete them all, some of them wouldnt go away. Strange things were on my computer so i downloaded AVG and scanned my computer. It picked up 24 infected files, and could only heal 12. 12 still remain on my system. For some reason AVG couldnt heal them.
My computer specs are.
Dell
1.5 ghz processor
pentium 4
Windows ME
128 mb ram
160 gigabyte hard drive
thats all i know off the top of my head. the viruses were trojans and the files were:
Trojan horse Revop.F
Trojan horse Downloader.VB.EC
Trojan horse Revop.C
Trojan horse Revop.C
Trojan horse Downloader.VB.EC
Trojan horse Downloader.VB.EC
Trojan horse Revop.C
Trojan horse BackDoor.VB.9.AG
Trojan horse Downloader.Small.4.BQ
Trojan horse Downloader.Keenval.B
Trojan horse Downloader.Keenval.C
Trojan horse BackDoor.VB.11.AM
i really desperately need help to get rid of these viruses. im running adaware now and its picking up 12 objects only so far. i assume its the 12 files that couldnt be healed.

HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!! Thats a lot of horrible things. You should an anti virus. It is for sure worth it. Hope you get help. Try getting your avg to run on startup and see if that works. Sometimes the problem can still be in the memory.

Get norton anti virus. I went the cheap way with avg and then opted for norton, for the same reason you are discribing. Norton wiped out all of the viruses and some that avg did not even detect. (on my sisters PC) I personally have not had a virus in on any of my machines in over 8 years.

^ I will agree with jonapete that norton is a better program overall, but make sure of a few things first.
Number 1 - Make sure you updated AVG to the latest virus definitions and for ad-ware/spybot. If you are unable to run auto-update on AVG, go to this link and download the virus defintiions update sepretly : http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_updt6.php?lng=fe
Number 2 - Make sure you run Ad-ware/ Spybot/ and AVG in windows SAFEMODE.
Some files running will not be able to be healed when you run in normal mode. In safe mode, many files are not active in memory and are more easliy removed.
To access safemode, restart your computer and tab the "F8" before windows starts to load. You will come to a screen where you will will be able to choose a mode with your arror keys, choose just safe mode, not " with network support" safemode.

Still unable to get into safe mode? Here is a guide from Norton's parent company:

^ Burn AVG to a CD ,Melt down the CD, fashion it into a bullet, and shoot her with the bullet!
This way, AVG is gurenteed to keep your computer virus free!

Did AVG pick up anything while scanning in safe mode, yet could not heal it? Or did it not find anything at all?

avg picked up all the things it picked up before in normal mode, but it still couldnt heal it. avg said it was best to move the file but it wont let me because i think its an important file. i think the file is something like c/_restore...

Try killing system restore before scanning. You may have backed up a virus in it and that is why it will not remove the backup. You can find this option by right clicking on "myComputer" and seclecting protperties.
One in, look for the system restore feature, should be one of the buttons. Click it and enter uncheck the enable box.
Note: It is not the button labled "Startup and recovery".
