I'm trying to rip songs off of a bunch of CDs, but they all end up as .wma files instead of mp3s or something else. I can't burn those songs onto CDs because of this.
Long to short, I need something that can turn .wma files into mp3s.

iTunes, windows media player. Music match is also a very good one.

Here is some other information about mp3's that may help you out. There are a bunch of different categories.

Music Match offers a CD-Ripper software.
Music on CDs comes in a CD-A format. You can skip the WMA all together and go straight to MP3.
I can check when I get home at download.com, which probably has a free CD ripper for donwload if you do not wish to get music match.

Yikes....everything is either really complicated or it costs money...
EDIT: Never mind. I found a nice little program for it. It's a trial version for two weeks, but that isn't a problem. :rotate:
