My first thread in like in forevor...
anyway who else is apart of the online phenomenon? I currently have a 70 Undead Warlock on Jaedenar.
back before The Burning Crusade I used to be real real hardcore, full tier 1 (although I used a tier 2 headpiece) Epic'd out.. all purples.
now i'm just all blues with like 3 epics :(
anyway another expansion has been announced and i'm probably going to quit before it is realesed cause I cant stand having all your gear turning obsolete. I was very angry when I had aq 20 and 40 gear and hitting lvl 61 made it all inferior to the gear ahead....
and yes i'm a nerd.

I have a 69 mage and 41 druid and shaman on Suramar. Right now I have semi-quit, though, and I only play when my friends ask me to get on. A bad level to do it at, I know, but I just don't have the time.
I was one hell of a mage back in the day, though. It took a totally tricked out and talented mage or rogue to outdamage me. In fact, only once has any other class managed it, and that was one heck of an amazing hunter.

Got a 70 War, Pally, and Hunter. I play around on my friends private server now thanks to my banning from the actual game months back. I got to experience all the perks of the Burning Crusade now at half the time needed to experience them which is great.
Not to mention slaying Illidan which Im sure almost everyone would like to do, but without the raiders and dedication most never accomplish this ultimate of tasks. Very fun though to have done so much that Id never have been able to do.

Lol, nothing beats the actual sensation of you and your guildmates downing a difficult boss fight for the first time. You can never get that on a private server. though I would like to jump on one just to expierence Black Temple.

I love to raid, but I can't stand how seriously most people take it, and just can't fit it in my schedule. Also I hate voice chat.

The whole.. ''We raid X TIMES on Y DAYS.''
It used to be great when I was in highschool and didn't have a job. Come home on Tuesdays and Thursdays doing Molten Core...
Now I can barely make a Karazhan or Gruuls run.
Voice chat doesn't bother me much, It's cool as long as your guild isn't annoying and people are funny.

"Fucking blah fucking blah fucking blah"
"I was in ubers once and I forgot to bring enough pots"
"*prepubescent sailor mouth*"
Etc.
Is why I dislike voice chat.

Youve both summed up what WoW used to be like on my old real servers. People bitching and moaning, dkp whores, fights. It was a nightmare.
Downing Nef was great, as was Ony and Rag, but its different now. I even find myself traveling back to MC or BWL or Nax on my private server for fun. Its nicer now that theres no screaming and yelling.

Hahahahahahhaha.
"HEY FUCK YOU MAN YOU MIGHT HAVE MORE DKP THEN ME BUT COME ON MY NECKLESS IS GREEN! I NEED IT MAN. YOU'RE STILL GONNA BUY THE ITEM? DUDE FUCK YOU MAN DONT EVER ASK ME FOR SHIT. FUCK FACE."
Kidwithnodkp has left the guild.

Pff screw all of that. I play on a PVP server (Gurubashi) server in a PVP guild... (Soldier) we don't do anything but dick around pretty much. Might get some premades going or whatever, but mostly just arena and chatting about nonsense on Vent. 68 Druid by the way... slowly making my way to 70...

World PvP > All the other content in the game. Nothing like getting 100+ people to dickslap Stormwind City.

As I said, places like BT really are fun, but people who like the WoW lore but arent raiders miss out. Its such a shame especially since Arthas in the next expansion will be so out of reach its not even funny.
Have a lvl 70 Druid and im enjoying the hell out of WoW. thankfully, our guild isnt as bad as some of your experiences with your guilds are and its generally a fun time over vent, with stupid jokes, sarcastic coments, and people hitting on each other left and right. Sure you get the ocasional directions and what this boss does and doesnt do, but otherwise i havent run into too many problems.

I have a 67 warrior on blackwing lair, but I am working on my 21 dwarf hunter on spirestone.
Crosman

lv65 Night elf Hunter on Emerald Dream (Holifax)
lv16 Blood elf Warlock on Maelstrom (Vallkin)
lv10 Troll Rogue on Ravenholdt (Faxjin)
lv35 Human Warrior on Deathroc (Crosman)
I play the first three but gave up on Crosman a while back. I plan on starting a Mage with the Crosman name on Emerald dream soon. I am a Role player/PvP player so this explains my realm choices.
