As you know... conspiracies will flood out of this war...
This morning we launched about 42 tomahawks at a building that Saddam Hussein was believed to be in, as well as most of his cabinent.
Shortly after attacks, Saddam Hussein got on Iraq TV and stated that we were cowards, criminals, and "Long Live Jihad".
Well now, someone (myself included) noticed how different Saddam appeared in that address earlier today. A lot of people believe it may be Saddam's body double, but even so, most of his doubles appear so close to Saddam's own looks that even that theory is being disputed.

But he's still ugly....

"It appears he aged 10 years in three days"
"He appears older than Castro in that picture"
"If it really is Saddam, then he must be wondering how we knew where he was. He is now even more paranoid than he already is, and now his own soldiers must be leery of their leader."

Still, look at the differences...No way you can get that much plastic surgery in 3 days.....
Well if it is somebody else, it's a smart move by Suddam. He's probably the most wanted man in the world right now.

"In history, Saddam Hussein's body doubles never talk. This one has. The mouth movements, eye movements, and posture match past tapes of Saddam's appearances."
The government is beginning to believe that Saddam is still alive.

would the real Saddam have to read off a paper? Wouldn't he know what to say?

All speeches are read off paper or a teleprompter, or even read into their ear. I don't believe that's the real Saddam, doesn't really look like him at all IMHO.

The faces are totally different; I say it's not him..

You've got to appreciate what the guy's been through. His palace was smashed to pieces, and probably his cabinet is dead. I imagine he's developed a slight case of psychotic-insomnia.

Sadam's eldest son Uday is in charge of the media in Iraq, and his youngest son Cusay is in charge of the military. Perhaps Sadam was in the bunker with Cusay and other military planners and was killed in the initial attack. That would leave a very scared Uday broadcasting pre-recorded tapes of his father to buy some time.

Yeah, I heard the tapes were probably pre-recorded, too...

Yeah, he didn't name any specifics. Just that the US was doing bad things. And CNN, said the Iraqi people are never sure if they're seeing their President or not. But that could just be media bullshit.

I wouldn't be surprised if it were pre-recorded. I mean.. why not?

hell yeah, go bombs
by the way, you gotta realize he's probably had a rough night ya know, with bombs going off all around you and your country beginning to get invaded. I'm sure he didn't sleep that night.
I think he looks like shit in the second pic because of just sheer stress.
Stay up all night while someone three times your size tries to knock down your front door, and see how you look in the morning.

Yea well, he deserves all that stress. He deserves to feel like shit, and he deserves everything he's going to get in the near future.
