i don't know but mario games don't have as much appeal to them anymore at least in my opinion. I hope they do something completely different on Mario 128.

I think they should go back to having levels and castels, while still keeping it 3-D. I'm tired of collecting 120 stars, I get bored with that. Some how they need to work Mario and lugi in the same game, either by connecting the gameboy advance or have a two player co-op. It needs to have good story any plent of FMV's maybe Bowser and Wario team up and it could be called
Super Mario Adventures and they could make sequels with that name like Super Mario Adventure II: The Return of Bowser.

I agree with the GBA thing, but it should be Peach to do the fighting for once. After seeing her on SSBM, I wonder how did Bowser manage to kidnap her? She can defend herself, she doesnt need Mario.

In the last two mario Games, both Mario and Lugi have had some kinda backpack tool. Mario with the Fludd (Water Pump) and Luigi with the Polergiest 3000 (Ghost Vacuum). Maybe they should'nt have this anymore. I want to see some starman, fire flowers, and some new items that change Mario into somthing for the next game. Does anyone agree?

Put Mario 128 is 3D, lose the gimmicks and have old school Mario enemies, with a whole lot more levels, and less stuff like blue coin collecting.
Don't get me wrong though, Sunshine was great.

The Smash Bros characters arent a real representation of the characters, after all they are just statues come to life.
The real life Peach wouldnt be able to fight like that.

I think the name is some what important, but no matter what the game is called, The name does't make the game blow, It's the game itself. I myself like Super Mario Adventures.

They need to make it a straight forward adventure like the classic marios where you proceed from level to level (no star collecting). It could be like mario3 where you have a little level select screen. They could also have a multiplayer race mode for each level. A cooperative mode would be fun too.

Probably next year... I hope it has the old-school powerups and weapons like the shell.
It'd be cool if it were based on the "Secret of.." levels that were in Sunshine.

I like the stars. Maybe they can find a way to make it more exciting. They just need to bring back the cool powerups, like the cape or fire flower, or even some new ones.

With the way the Wind Waker looks. I would not mind if the next Mario was Cell shaded. Mushroom Kingdom and all the Mario Characters, I think would look awsome. Maybe It's a possibility.

If you dont like cel shading then why do you have, cell shaded characters for your Signature and your user name. But anyways I respect your opinion. It was just a suggestion, and I'm sure some might agree.

No thanks.. controllers are expensive and SMS almost made be tear one in half with my SuperMan like strength. Damn "secret of" levels!

You're wrong! There is nothing cel-shaded about the Link and Princess Zelda in my avator, they are merely cool looking 2D cartoon characters. If I had put up a screenshot of the toon shaded 3D Link then you would have a good point.
I really like the art style the game is using, but only when its in the 2D official art.

I've heard that it's supposed to be at E3 this year, I'm not too sure on the credibility of that though.

What do you think the odds are of the next Mario game to skip a Gamecube realese and go directly to the next generation Nintendo system(such as did the Mario 64 2). I want to hear your thoughts on this.

I really do think that the next Mario Game will connect Luigi in somhow,(gameboy Advance) or like Resident Evil 0. We can also expect a new game layout, I think star collecting is out of the question, hello castles and warp pipes! Oh yeah and no more backpack items PLEASE! I want to see Metal Mario, Fire Flower flying Mario, Super Mario(Mushroom) and some new ones, with a great storyline and FMVs. Thats one thing that I really liked about Sunshine they had FMVs, they just need alot more, to keep they story stronge.
