Alright, a while ago my girl messed up her computer and she was no longer to browse the internet. She was able to connect to the internet and everything but she could only send emails and nothing more. Last night she did some things to her computer and she actually was able to fix some things but she is stuck. She said that she got to a part where she clicked on "Connect to the Internet" but a message appeared saying "You are restricted from this. Please contact your Network Administrator" She would like to know what that means.

Does she have a router? If so then she will have to open up certain ports to allow her access to secure stuff like that.

If she can sign on still to do e-mail, I want you to do the following:

First right click on the internet icon on your desktop (The E icon) and click properties. Empty and delete cookies and temporary internet files. Then........

Click start\ Go to Programs \ Go to AOL \ CLick on System properties/infomation \ Navigate through the tabs and look for "Uninstall AOL Adapter". \ Click it when found and agree with it all the way through the process\ It will prompt you to restart the computer when you are finished.

Test and see on restart.
