Halo 2 ending.

I was too lazy and never beat it, and since Im busy with work I doubt Ill get round to it by the time Halo 3 comes out. I think I got really, really close so I dont think Ill miss much.

I know MC says 'Im going to finish the fight' or something, but where was he and what was happening around him?

He was on the Covenant ship heading towards Earth. The ship had the Prophet of Truth on it, who is essentially the leader of the Covenant. He's looking for the Arc/Ark and blah blah blah.

i never beat either halo 1 and halo 2. I found the single player to be so boring. I remember hating going back in forth in the first one... and the level design being terrible. I thought Halo 1 was the most overrated at that time... and still kinda do. I don't think a game of that caliber should have saved the xbox.

So yah, I don't really know what is going on in the SP portion as well.
