Pretty darn good from Japanese reviewers.....

10/9/9/9
which I guess....is like a 9.25

which is the same score they gave Halo 2....

That's very good, coming from Famitsu.

In fact, that's downright impressive for a japanese review.

That's cool, I didn't know they gave Halo 2 the same score though.

I'd rather read some IGN review or something though, for some reason I doubt Famitsu would have a competent FPS breakdown.

That's very good considering it is Famitsu and a FPS they are reviewing.

I thought reviews weren't allowed to be released till the 23rd or something.

I value Famitsu as the be all end all ratings system so this is amazing for Halo 3. Very impressive, now the futzing will come on our side...

They probably got the review early in a way to show that Microsoft "cares" about Japan. I dunno..

Playing the SP now and it's definitely the best Single Player campaign of all the Halo titles. The music and sound effects are incredible some of the best I have heard in a videogame. I really like all the chatter from your comrades and the enemy... The only other game on the same level from a sound perspective is Heavenly Sword, but it's something about the Halo music that is emotionally moving... Also, the lighting and environments in the game are very well done! Some of the best lighting seen on the 360 period. The only thing lacking in the game is the visuals of the NPCs and characters except for Master Chief. This flaw is really noticeable during the ingame cutscenes especially after seeing Heavenly Sword, but this issue is not a deal breaker by any means... The AI is amazing especially on Legendary mode the characters dodge fire and really seem to possess intelligence.

I'm about 2 hours in the SP campaign and I'm very impressed with the game.
I know the coop play should be amazing especially on Legendary difficulty.
I can't comment on the multiplayer, because I will not go online until after the commercial launch, but I'm sure it will be rock solid. A great title that lived up to the incredible hype from a gameplay perspective IMO. The only minor gripe anyone can have with the game is that the visuals are not extraordinary, but we play games for gameplay not to look at pretty imagery.

I will post more thoughts as I proceed thru the SP campaign.

I doubt he still wants to take the chance. He only has a few days to wait anyway.

^I'm too weak...
I played the coop SP online, but not the true MP yet.
Since I'm in this deep I will play the MP later today and post my thoughts.
