At school the day of 9/11, we didn't do any work, we just watched the news every class.
Today, did you watch the news in your classroom and discuss the war or go about your business as usual?
I watched the news in 2 of my 4 classes.

Physics test tomorrow. Oh we did go over some physics involved in some weapons used in the war but that's about it.

I had work in all my classes.
Watching TV at school is "banned" until further notice, also all teachers have been asked not to discuss the matter.

Yea, it was the same for 9/11. We're sheltered because we're five minutes away from the army base in Fort Meade.

Our school practically shut down for two days. On 9/11, no teachers taught... everyone watched the drama unfold on TV.
9/12, attendance was so low that we all just watched the TV anyway... more answers became prevalent... and we learned our target is Osama Bin Laden.
I distinctly remember hearing my older brother telling me about this guy back when I was in 6th grade... five years ago.

#1. Yesterday, my english teacher was absent....which happened to be a coincidence with the war......but he never gave reasons for it.
#2. Same day, my reading class was having a major talk about the possibilities of war, what could happen, and so to speak.
#3. Back to business as usual, today.

My humanities professor went on an anti-war rant, then emailed us later apologizing for getting so worked up. Evidently, his family is entirely made up of missionaries, and they're all over Asia and whatnot.
Other than that, business as usual.

Ah... Spring Break for me. Next week I'm sure my teachers will talk about the war, but that's about it.
