Monday: Padres at Rockies; winner gets the NL wildcard. The playoffs will set up like this:

ALDS's
Red Sox vs Angels
Indians vs Yankees

I have the Indians and Sox

NLDS's
Cubs vs D'Backs
Phillies vs COL/SD winner
I'll take Arizona and Philly

I agree with the National League picks. I think that the Red Sox and Yankees are going to advance in the first round though. I just have a feeling that the Yankees will manage to pull off a series victory. I'm glad the National League playoff bout last until the final game and then some. Keeps it interesting. I think the Rockies may be able to beat the Padres and will sneak into the wild card spot.

Red Sox and Yanks are winning in the first round
Diamondbacks are gonna kill the Cubs
If the Rockies win today, I think they'll beat the Phillies, but if the Padres win, I pick the Phillies to go on.

Rockies win the one game playoff 9-8 in 13 innings. They will face the Phillies in the NLDS

I can't believe that just happened.
Wow.
I changed the channel after the Padres home run and was so pissed, and then I just happened to click the ESPN Gamecast I had running on my toolbar and saw that it was tied, so I flipped it back on.

I'm not so sure Holliday even touched home plate. I think the umpire made a call he shouldn't have. Another instance where instant replay, with limited use, could be beneficial to baseball. I don't know about others, but when a team in the NFL challenges a call, it is one of my favorite occurences of the game. I love the suspense and analyzing the replays.
