Something for the new PS controller button. Is what i make of the translation.
Sony schützt neues Icon/Logo

02.10.07 - Sony hat beim japanischen Patent- und Markenamt ein neues Symbol schützen lassen. Das Icon zeigt die Symbole X, /\, O und [], die auf den Tasten der PlayStation-Joypads zu sehen sind. Über die nähere Verwendung des Icons ist noch nicht weiter bekannt.

It does not say it's about the controller. That German text only says it's the same symbols as used on the controller.

And it doesnt say its the new Sony logo it just says its a new patent.^^

i think it should be the PS Eye logo. it does look like PS Eye a little bit.

Yeah, out of all existing/announced Playstation products, this fits PS Eye the most in style.

I like the logo...but i don't know if i'd actually use it to represent the Playstation brand for everything.

But this is Sony, so we'll just have to sit back & wait...

It's PS around a globe, hence the network idea, what's so bad about it? lol

It's got an old style because they don't want it to be just about PS3, it's about the whole of PS.
