I am aware that it came out in 2004 and 98% of the people who want it probably has it by now.
But Steam was nice enough to realise that that's a game I already own that was in the Orange Box and they are giving me a chance to gift it to anyone.
All you need to do is give me your e-mail and I send you an invitation.
Then you accept and download HL2 (full version) to your PC for free.
No catch, no nothing, just pure awesomeness from Valve (and partly me).
If you DON'T have Steam (tsk tsk), the email will provide you with links and a step by step guide but seriously it's not rocket science.
