I love pro-wrestling.

Before the story, I want to say that in Kalkaska Michigan on December 8th there will be a pro wrestling show by MCPW (Mr. Chainsaw Productions Wrestling) at the Kalkaska Civic Center.

Let me know if you want more information..
Or if you MIGHT be interested in seeing a kick ass show..

One that I'LL be the referee for.

-----------------------------------------

Anyone who has been to this part of the forums knows that I contain at least a little bit of knowledge of the wrestling world. I've loved the business, the sport, the acting, the everything about wrestling since before I could remember.

I recently went to my first indy show. Not only was it my first indy show, but I managed before hand to be a back-up referee if the referee they usually used couldn't make it (and he couldn't). So, they had a back up for THIS guy, but he wasn't reliable so I went early and they spent an hour or two just making sure I could do the basic referee work. I was going to work half the show under a mask and then one of the workers was going to wear a mask and do the same thing.

Well, I was backstage at the show with Josh Abercrombie, who is a great Independent wrestler who has worked all around Michigan and promotions such as Price Of Glory (Dan "The Beast" Severn's promotion) and the show that had better (or equal) ratings than wwECW, Wrestling Society X on MTV as "Jug". Josh and some other awesome guys backstage decided that I'd be okay to do the whole show and it wouldn't piss anyone off if I was to referee the whole show.

THAT WAS SO FREAKING COOL.

So I had the chance to referee the entire show, including getting a headbutt and kicked to the cement out of the ring by Josh Abercrombie. SO cool.

This lit the flame for my love for wrestling in such an awesome way. I've been to a Smackdown house show.. I was at Wrestlemania last year.. but this was just great. I've gotten to meet some of the most dedicated workers in Michigan, and it was a awesome experience.

Now, I'm going to start getting more experience in wrestling and as a referee. I would love to wrestle someday, but this definitely satisfies my needs right now.

Anyone feel like driving up to see the next show?
