EyeCreate movie playback

I've just got a Playstation Eye and have made a movie, exported to USB and tried to play on my PC - no joy.
However my friend with a Mac gets it to play fine using VLC - perhaps the windows version will also work http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html.
He says that it will also play in iTunes on the Mac, but my windows iTunes (7.4.3) does not.
Just thought this might help some folks ...

Download the K-lite codec pack, and install all options. That should do it.

Usually, VLC brings all of its own codecs with it (it does not use direct show afaik), so it should work w/o K-Lite (I use ffdshow, which are imho the best codecs in a pack)
