Pathetic.

Uhm, what happened to Sigma, Folklore, and every downloadable game available? They would've easily filled out the last 3 - err, four - numbers on the list.

This is obviously meant to be satirical.
I mean ScrewAttack are the people behind the angry video game nerd... They obviously did this to be funny, not to knock the ps3.
Some of you need to lighten up. I found it really funny, especially the Superman II part haha.

I guess some of us have a more developed sense of humour/sarcasm.
I understand what they were trying to achieve here, but it came out as cheap and plain stupid.
Humour is at it's best, when you add some wit .. even if it's just little.

Really...
I could take this as an insult, but I'm in a non-confrontational mood right now....
Ahh fuck it... i'll bite.
How is humour more developed? There is just different types, from slapstick to more intelligent humour. Don't take away from one type just because you don't find it particually funny. I enjoy all types of humour myself, so don't just say that automaticly I'm not as "developed" as you when it comes to humour. Personally, I am a person who loves to laugh, whether it be from a blunder somebody has done or a witty joke. Just don't sit on your high horse and be like "I have my head so far up my ass I can't enjoy some sarcastic humor."
Now see, if you had said I didn't enjoy it, and left it for that, I probably would have been fine with it, but so many people are trying to justify not liking it. Just take it for what it is people, something that is supposed to make you laugh... That is like somebody killing a joke by trying to explain why the joke wouldn't work.

hahahaha yeah wtf, 300 should have been in place of that.
But seriously, it was mildly amusing and sincere. There wasn't real venom there, just the sarcasm they're notorious for.

I repped him too, because I actually think he is right, to some degree.
Humor is the most difficult thing to do right (in movies for example), because there are so many different types of it.

My comments were, what they were. Just like people have developed taste, people have developed sense of humour. I don't know why get so pissy about it. It was you going all out to defend the so called "skit" and telling people to "lighten up".
I -in my humble opinion, and as much this will irk you- find this sort of "comedy" to be crap. That is my opinion, and i'm not forcing it on you or telling anyone to "smarten up" either.
Now see, if you had said I didn't enjoy it, and left it for that, I probably would have been fine with it, but so many people are trying to justify not liking it. Really? Maybe everyone who did not react in the way you want them too, just found it extremely dry and weak, and something that does not make them laugh. Why does this bother you so much?
Now arn't you the being a little insinuative here, and telling people how they should react?

So what I read in the second sentance is that a person who likes something like this can't be "developed" enough to like political satire or other "smart" humour. I don't know about anybody else, but it seems to me that you are being extremely condescending.
I said lighten up because people seemed to be reading to much into it... It isn't supposed to be thought provoking or even true... Just supposed to have sarcastic humor, and if you don't like that, then fine, just don't come with responses like this:
So they knock out F1 and replace it with Ridge Racer?
Pathetic.
If you had said something along the lines of what VG or GTAce said, I probably wouldn't have taken it any further than my first post, but seriously, why is it so important that they knocked out F1? You don't enjoy the humor, couldn't you just have said, ohh I didn't really find it funny? This is up there with trying to kill a joke by explaining why it isn't realistic.
Really? Maybe everyone who did not react in the way you want them too, just found it extremely dry and weak, and something that does not make them laugh. Why does this bother you so much?

For the record, I didn't mind what you said untill you said this:
I guess some of us have a more developed sense of humour/sarcasm.
Like I said before, you seem like a condescending ass with that statement. Telling people to lighten up isn't telling them that they should like it. It is just telling them to not get so hurt because it is only humour...
Now, I am normally not this vocal on something like this, but seriously man, you come of sorta snobish in that post and that is why I said what I said.

Okay, god dammit people get the sand out of your vaginas. It was kinda funny, some people didn't find it funny at all. Maybe some people don't 'get it', maybe some just take playstation way too seriously. Maybe screwattack.com owes someone up here 5 dollars, whatever.
