They will become helmets and gloves atached together by wires. You put the game in the helmet then wear the helmet. After that, you put on the gloves, turn on the game and then your in the game. :hmm:

I have GC and GBA. I think the helmets thing should stay in the arcade. The e-reader thing seems pretty damn high tech. NES games off a card!

Man I don't think video games will ever have helmets. I think they'll stick with the TV. They'll keep getting smaller (especially Nintendo) because of the high - techness of the smallness.

First all controllers will become wireless. The systems will prob stay the same size, just better stuff inside (Xbox is bigger than NES). Eventually there will be all in one systems, something that connects to the interenet, plays console games and DVDs. An attachment will break off and be a controller, cell phone and Gameboy type thing that can also act as a small computer... Or maybe im completely wrong about everything

Helmets would suck.. Could you imagine how stupid, and nerdish you'd look?

Can you imagine how cool it would be though? You could actually be Chris Redfield and hunt down zombies. Or you could be lara croft and well err...use your imagination ;).

if we keep tampering with robots to the point where they see us as obsolete, they'll destroy us all!

i think that in the future, that games will be head mounted visors, and be vitrtual-reality. But thats what i forsee, so its most likely wrong.

well i think the day we'll be able to do virtual-reality games(at home) would be between 20 and 30 years...............

Nintendo has already came out with something exactly like that years ago. It's called Virtual Boy.

Virtual Reality will be the way to go ... unless games start consoles start behaving like computers.
Than we'll have a windows boot up screen, built in brower, internet, and you'll be able to download games online (by paying for them via credit card) ... the console will have a hard drive and ram and junk ....
... Its going to be called X Box 2

I think your mistaking Virtual Reality with a par of goggle looking things with a screen on the inside that only displays red lines.
Virtual Reality would be like full color, where you are actually there and can turn around and everything and acctually see yourself and instead of using a controller its just like real life and you controll everyting with body movements (it will seem like that but it will actually be using your brain, kinda like dreams).

Indeed, Virtual Boy was just plain garbage. I'm sure glad I never got one.
