He alone is running the PSI main page (http://psinsider.e-mpire.com/) at the moment.
Bringing in new interesting features like "Weekly Worldwide Releases" for both PSP and PS3 and he updated the main page daily for the past 5 days
Much appreciated and even with this little effort, I now bother to check the main page and even commented on some news.

Hey guys,
It's nice to see my work getting appreciated, but it's something that had to be done. The network is going through some changes and it's a shame to let the main page take a hit because of that. I've been here since the old PS3 and PSP Insider days and it's loyalty what motivates me to keep the site alive. I know it sounds a bit cheesy, but that's jus the way I feel.
Either way, don't worry about the site or network. The future of PSInsider and E-mpire is looking bright.
Also, don't take too much notice to the old highlights on the site. I'll update them as soon as we get some new articles and reviews rolling.

Do you get paid for doing all this? :pinky:

Tell me if you need some help, solidus. Not much interesting(unwatermarked) media to upload when there are no events being held.

Seph, try http://www.the-magicbox.com/gaming.htm
They usually have a nice selection of new screens unmarked.

their links are timed most of the time though. (don't know the term) but they disappear after a while

What do you mean? If you are referring to their links changing over time to be archived, that doesn't matter because we wouldn't be hot linking the image, it gets saved to our server first.

Hopefully E-mpire will become a company that employs people one day since I think it's a great network (or the potential they keep talking about is great at least) but for now every staff is voluntary as far as I know which means we should be more appreciative of people of solidus' work rate.

No, I don't get paid and I'm kind of fine with that at the moment. I'm an optimist, maybe in the future my work will be compensated in currency instead of kudos.
No?
Damn.
To be honest, I've been absent from the site for quite a while and this is sort of my way of making up for it.
Either way, I hope you guys enjoy the frequent update and I'll do my best to keep 'em coming.

^I'm hoping to make such a return after the new year as well. My current job title has me working overnight and leaves me almost no time to myself to do these things anymore. Also, Lali says he has a bunch of reviews on deck today, so keep an eye out for those. We're slowly getting it back together, but it's going to take a little while to get it where it used to be and beyond. That's the bad thing about not being on pay, is the jobs that do pay us have to take priority. Sadly for me that means working 2 jobs all night and all day, as well as on my "off" days, so there just isn't much time there to devote to the site anymore.
