I think this deserves a topic of it's own:

Holy hell, how are the gonna make Neon Genesis live action? I would like to see how it turns out but I honestly don't think they can even come close to pulling off what the anime did. Even if it is the LOTR crew, I just can't see Eva working without being animated.

It's looking nice from the concept art, but I don't have a clue who they are going to pick for the casting. Just think of actors around 13-14 right now who may be eligable for the part in just a few years.

You should take a look at this.

I really like eva...although "live action" just leaves a bitter taste. Something tells me the style of the show will be lost.

Just keep repeating "It's by the same guys who did Lord Of The Rings" and you'll feel better about it soon :)

They did a good job of bringing LOTR to a new form, I hope they can do the same for Eva.

yeah...but a book is by no means a graphic novel or anime that just oozes w/style and substance...well...lotr sure has substance...

From what I saw a long time ago, it looked promising. I haven't paid any attention to it lately, though.

Speaking of Eva... That ending was a real mind-raper.

That's one of the reasons I loved eva. The storyline was so fucked and you have to think pretty hard to make sence of it. But it does all connect and make sence it's just a matter or wrapping your mind around it. Sortof like Donnie Darko.

That last episode wasnt even about anything anymore, it was about Shinji trying to grasp reality or somthing. he is one fucked up kid..

I was talking about that last part before the last episode. Where everyone is dying and Rei gets really huge...it's all uber-weird.
