E3 2008--Any details?

So 2007 I missed E3 for numerous reasons, one main reason being incredibly unprepared. Since I am poor I try to prepare for E3 as far into advance as possible, and was wondering if anyone knew of any info on it? I have heard San Francisco or Las Vegas as possible venues but does anyone else know anything? If it were either of those places, assuming E3 was in July I could get a roundtrip ticket months in advance for under $250 from Ohio as opposed to paying like $600 2-3 months away from it...

So any info guys?

I think they've been trying to gather all response info from '07 before they take on '08.

'07 seemed more love it, hate it than the older style was.

Last talk I heard of was switching the host city, I think they are talking New York, Chicago or Atlanta. Basically a city more geared towards expositions.


If E3 2008 is anything like 2007 they should simply discontinue the event and start from scratch. I wasnt overly impressed with 2007, where as I had a good time it completely lacked the "wow" factor.

lol they will NEVER go to ATL again..that is where E3 started and I heard that was more trouble than it is worth..NYC or Chicago? I never heard that before, do you have any sources?
