do you think it will just downright suck?
ive had much debate with some of my friends that the new season was either going to suck miserably, or be just as funny as before.
much credit for its cancellation can be given to the poor ratings given due to the show's pushing the limits and sometimes too far type of humor. so, with the show returning, do you think that the writers will be told to tone it down?

They better not tone it down.

I hope not...Family Guy is like the new best comedy ever. It has a different kinda of humor which is better.

Late this year. I heard it will be on Comedy Central.

Comedy Central is really the only place they can put it. Fox is completley over-saturated.
I hope Family Guy doesn't suck, but I never really thought it was so hilarious (like a zillion other people) in the first place.

I thought it was the funniest thing I'd ever seen. It still is hysterical today.

What the hell? Comedy Central...=no...I heard that Adult Swim said it was in agreement that it will either show on Adult Swim or Fox first and be transported to the other station later. Comedy Central doesn't have anything to do with it. And the new episodes will probably be late NEXT year.

Adult Swim is Cartoon Network, and I remember reading somewhere that they can't/won't get it.

They will get it, as they now own the rights to it. Notice how the episodes are playing on it, and not Fox. My guess is Adult Swim will get it, and Fox will get the shaft.
Go to adultswim.com and go to the webcam or media crap whatever it is, and one of them shows Seth McFarline saying how greatful he is that adult swim has supported family guy and that Adult swim will be getting the new episodes that are to be made.

Serves Fox right. They just renewed The Swan but might cut Arrested Development. That shit don't make sense.

Are you serious?! Arrested Development is the funniest new Fox show in five years!

Bad ratings, though. 24 had a similar problem its first season.

Yeah Fox has the knack of dropping good shows for shitty reality type shows. I dunno how that network keeps running.

I thought it was coming back to FOX ... because FOX agreed to take them back due to high DVD sales.

the type of humor used in Family Guy was right on the line, there was no boundaries really set for that show, its pure genius
