The Orphanage, presented by Oscar-Nominee Guillermo del Toro, centers on a Laura (Belén Rueda from The Sea Inside) who purchases her beloved childhood orphanage with dreams of restoring and reopening the long abandoned facility as a place for disabled children. Once there, Laura discovers that the new environment awakens her son’s imagination, but the ongoing fantasy games he plays with an invisible friend quickly turn into something more disturbing. Upon seeing her family increasingly threatened by the strange occurrences in the house, Laura looks to a group of parapsychologists for help in unraveling the mystery that has taken over the place.

Did you like "Pan's Labyrinth"? I did and this new movie by Del Toro looks freaking great! I love Del Toro as a director. He is one of the newer that really captures the atmosphere of a feeling so well.

I liked Pan's Labyrinth - but from that trailer I don't know if I'd like "The Orphanage" too much.

I'm willing to give it a try, though; Pan's Labyrinth was an amazing movie so I'd hope he continue his level of quality for this movie.

Thanks for posting.

Another good scare Movie that also was already made by Guillermo Del Toro before Pan's Labyrinth was a Movie called Devil's Backbone that was good a good Ghost Story.

Haha, that fooled me. Bastards.
Oh well, I opened for Tarantino, I've stayed for the boobs.

The trailer looks awesome, very exciting sets and cinematography.
Definitely has my interest.

Yea, this movie is probably going to do decent just because del Toro's names are in the previews/advertisements. Generally, these movies just arent up to par with the directors that present them.

I'm looking forward to his other movies that I have seen in imdb.

Hellboy II looks sweet.
