My favourite songs on Rock Band are:
1. Boston - Foreplay/Long Time: I can play every instrument on hard or better and it sounds like a song by the Black Mages.
2. The Sweet - Ballroom Blitz: Singing this song is some of the best fun I have with the game.
What is your favourite song on Rock Band?

Tom Sawyer (bass and vocals)
Run to the Hills (guitar)
Flirtin With Disaster (guitar)
Dani California (vocals and drums and bass)
Welcome Home (vocals and bass)
I'm So Sick (vocals and bass and guitar)
Pleasure (guitar)
Maps (vocals)
Learn to Fly (guitar)
Enter Sandman (drums, guitar)
Go With the Flow (drums)
Uh.... ok, I'll stop.
Really, it'd be better to list the songs I don't like because I pretty much like 90% of the songs in the game. Thus my inability to stop playing....

I'm agree with Lucent. I like almost every song. Although I can't do "I'm So Sick" vocals. It kills me.
I put Welcome Home on the list because it's awesome when in a full band. I don't like Coheed though.

I don't see how anyone could hate it on the Expert drums. It's got such fun and interesting patterns while remaining relaxing and enjoyable.

All you haters should play it on Expert drums and then get back to me. I promise, it's got a really fun beat.
I think besides Enter Sandman & Dani California, I might like it best on drums.

After playing foreplay on expert drums (first expert drums to play) and only passing because of a glitch that said you had star power on the entire song.....no thanks. I think i'm going to pass on expert.
I've only played Rock Band when at one of my friends' house. I'm waiting for the game to come with one instrument, so I can buy it then. I have no need/no funds for all 3 instruments. Anyway, some songs that were fun to play:
Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills. It's an awesome song to begin with, but everyone's got to do some work in that song. It isn't like the bass player is going to play the same riff over and over, and all that jazz.
Coheed and Cambria - Welcome Home. Unlike Alias, I like Coheed. I just wish they put one of their better songs in the game (here's to hoping for some DLC). I'm usually the one doing vocals for this song. It isn't because I'm good at singing, but because I don't sound all that bad when compared to everyone else.
I actually enjoy singing, but I digress.
Metallica - Ride the Lightning (lovely solo)
Stone Temple Pilots - Vasoline (anything but Bass)
The Sweet - Ballroom Blitz (only because a friend of mine sings it like an idiot everytime. On purpose).
There might be some other songs I might be forgetting.

You've got to be kidding. That song totally sucks on bass with its galloping triplets over and over and over and over and over and over.

Well I have a bunch, but I love playing the solo parts on Coheed and Bang Camaro.
Actually, all the hardest solo parts are super fun even though I can't nail most of them.
I practice though.
All the songs are enjoyable.
I haven't sang yet, maybe once.
I rule at drums on Medium. My drum pedal broke, but glued it back together.

Well, I'll be honest, I didn't exactly play bass for that song. I was on drums. If I remember correctly, though, there should've been a bass solo of sorts somewhere. I wouldn't doubt me being wrong, though. Iron Maiden usually has some good bass lines, though.

Let's see. I don't own the game, but from what's fun to play:
Tom Sawyer
Welcome Home
Black Hole Sun
Highway Star
Enter Sandman
When You Were Young
I'm sure I like playing more, but I have a limited experience.

I love playing Foreplay/Long Time on expert on drums, it's actually easier IMO than it is on Hard because it drops some notes on Hard, but that makes it harder to keep a beat (I had to hit my leg instead of hitting a pad just to keep the rhythm of things), so it's very fun on expert where it's the most accurate :-D
Same with Enter Sandman, I've been drumming to that song for years on my steering wheel, and it was great to finally play it in Rock Band, and Vasoline on drums :-D
I've always wanted to be a drummer so I usually stay away from the guitar... hehe. I've always loved the bass line and drums for The Hand that Feeds by NIN, and I had a great time singing that one too. Won't Get Fooled Again is a fantastic song but man is it hard, huh!?
Anyhoo, it's easier to list the songs we don't like, so they did their job, and I hate Ballroom Blitz. Every time I hear that guy singing the little bit on the preview it cracks me up. :) There's also that song by the Mother Hips (I think that's the one) and I think it's in 5/4 or something like that, so I tend to not like that one (even though Tom Sawyer has a segment in 5/8 or something like that, I'm more used to it :-p)

Kiss - Detroit Rock City (got to love kiss)
I really have to disagree. Kiss is pretty bad.
Alright, considering I own the game now and I've been playing through it, I think I can come up with a better list of songs I enjoy.
Blue Öyster Cult - (Don't Fear) The Reaper
-It's just a fun song to play along to.
Boston - Foreplay/Long Time
-I've always liked Foreplay. It's a jam. "Long Time" isn't bad either.
Queens of the Stone Age - Go With the Flow
-The song just sounds pretty cool; catchy
The Outlaws - Green Grass and High Tides
-I'm a fan of long songs, but the song is friggin' murder on Expert.
Deep Purple - Highway Star
-A fun song to play as a whole band.
The Strokes - Reptilia
-Sounds cool
Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills
-It's an awesome song, but the bass is rather insanely repetitve (and evil)
Stone Temple Pilots - Vasoline
-One of my favorite STP songs.
Coheed & Cambria - Welcome Home
-It's a solid song. Not my favorite Coheed one, since it's a bit "overplayed," but it's good to see them in the game none-the-less.
Flyleaf - I'm So Sick
-A cool song. I can't sing it for the life of me, but the vocals are awesome.
Timmy & The Lords of the Underworld - Timmy & The Lords of the Underworld
-Why not?
Out of the downloaded ones, I dig the Metallica ones (Blackened, ...And Justice For All, and Ride the Lightning). Ride the Lightning being my favorite from those three. I also got Iron Maiden's "The Number of the Beast" and Stone Temple Pilots' "Interstate Love Song."
Fun stuff.
