Choices, choices...

Steam is having a pretty big sale from now until January first. All games are 10 to 50% off. I could get Call of Duty 4 for $45, or Bioshock for $37.50. I've heard excellent things about both, so what would anyone recommend?

I recommend them both, but if you had to choose... Probably CoD4. The single player is amazing and so is the multiplayer. Bioshock doesnt have multiplayer as Im sure you know, so it depends on what you want, really. Although, I would even say that the CoD4 single player is better than Bioshock.

I haven't played CoD4, but if you were a fan of the system shock games, you'll like Bioshock.

Yeah I haven't played Call of Duty 4 but have heard excellent things about it from friends and Bioshock was an awesome game.

I'm pretty sure I have CoD4 under the Christmas tree, but won't know until tomorrow and since I haven't played it can't speak for it from experience, but it looks amazing and from what I've heard it certainly is, but BioShock is a must-have for anyone into FPS-type games. If multiplayer is an important factor, you might have to go with CoD4, but for singleplayer I'd definitely go with BioShock.

Call of Duty is a great shooter, but it's just that - yet another shooter.

I'd suggest Bioshock. From my experience with it, it's awesome.

I dont know if this was confined to just my Best Buy, but i recently bought Assasin's Creed there for 37.99 and CoD4 was also the same price, so check em out.
