Kotaku's 2007 Games of the Year - The Best of The Year So Far

I know, I know, Kotaku sucks a dead chimp's choad. But really, read the list, it is one of the best "Games of The Year" lists I have read this year! Crazy, no? :shrug: In fact, in comparison to even Gamespot's list it is by far the best. I don't know why, but it is true.

That's a good list. This has been a year of heavy-hitters and not too much else, so it's a pretty agreeable group of games to choose from.

I'm so glad Halo 3 didn't get 360 GOTY. Hell, it wasn't even in second place, and that makes me happy.

Yeh Im pretty pleased with that. I think maybe CoD4 shouldve been 2nd or maybe even 1st on the 360 list, but whatever.

Oh and Im not so sure that I like the way they came the their conclusions though.

i was going to say i thought super mario galaxy was the best game of the year earlier this week but was afraid of being pelted with large, undecipherable paragraphs of responses about how innovative system shock 3 was and how ratchet and clank had worlds that went in circles etc.

I would have stuck up for you. I played Bioshock the other day for the first time in ages, and granted I hadnt played in a while so I didnt really know what was going on, but it didnt seem as good as I once thought.
