Is there a way to quickly delete files in the XMB, for example music files? you can group them by artist and delete the artists individually but there is no "Delete all" option.

Garf, did you get a PS3 and not inform me? I spit on you...

I got it on new years eve, only got R:FOM right now (damn nice game), looking to buy either DIRT or assassins creed tomorrow :)

It's not online yet, and even when it is, it won't be much due to shitty Aussie ISP Quotas. Would you believe, in Australia you have to pay at least $330-$350 per month for rather slow broadband without a quota?

Get Uncharted. Now. Or I'll crush you. At MotorStorm. If you get it. And you should. Or else.

Is it really that good? I hear its short, in that case i can just hire it and finish it in a good afternoon of kickass.

I'm currently playing through it and I can make sure you won't finish it in one afternoon.

I'll give AC a miss, it's a rental. It's down to dirt or Uncharted!

but i've just realised how OT this has become...does anyone know how to "delete all" files in a group?

I'll check later, but my best guess is to keep pressing square until it organizes all your content properly so that you can delete it all at once. Either that or keep deleting the automatically arranged folders/albums.

Assassin's Creed looks good but gameplay wise it's disappointing according to many reviewers and gamers. Way too repetitive.

looking at a few reviews uncharted looks very nice indeed, no major flaws to ruin solid gameplay. Meh, if it's short but very sweet i guess i don't care. kikizo says more then 12 hours or so which aint too bad. It took me about 16 hours for R:fom maybe on medium, exploring as i went.

Ahhhhhhh, the more i look at it the more i want it!

Uncharted gameplay is nice and although I haven't finished it yet it's getting better. The sharpest graphics and the best animation I've seen on consoles so far certainly don't ruin it either :-p

Ya, no delete all for some reason, maybe they didn't want people to accidentally delete all their music in case they had a ton of it? I know I have like 6 or 7 GB of music on my PS3. Maybe, but anyway...

Group by genre or another division like by year that makes fewer subcategories and then delete them.

Options (triangle)> Delete Multiple, check them off, hit okay.

Oh that's what you do. I had to group them by genre and delete it that way but Your option is much better Lalilulelo.

And Everyday Shooter when you're looking for a top down arcade shooter with good sounds. Me? I'd go with:

Ass Creed (fun so far)
Uncharted (GODLY game)
Warhawk (Too much fun)
COD4 (Campaign is hard)
Ratchet & Clank (ending leaves me wanting)
Fuck any arcade racer on PS3 that isn't Ridge Racer 7 (GET IT and race only to Boyd Jarvis' Don't Deny Love

unless your like a professional gamer or something Garf, Uncharted is a good 10-15 hour game.

If your worried about it's length, then just start the game on hard, you probably won't get through it in a timely fashion;)

as far as what to get for your PS3, just listen to the post above...

bets games are Uncharted, R&C, Unreal, Resistance and VF5 if your into fighters. If your playing with a friend, Calling All Cars is instant pick up and play fun.

Stardust is probably the best downlodable game on PSN, followed by Everyday Shooter.

flow is definitely worth a purchase as well as Blast factor (which you don't really need if you have Stardust)

that's about it for this year at least...

btw-I'll put in a minimal amount of 50+hrs into both Stardust and Everyday shooter. Both games are worth more than the price of admission and really standout titles on PSN;)

Well...that is around about the average cost of quota free broadband in Australia for a metro area. As for speed, it is 4-8mbps down 256k up so not great. But that's what you have to pay in a nation with such a low pop in such a large area :(
