Awesome I get to see the game I wanted NE Vs. JAX. Hopefully Colts get Harrison and Mathis back for the Charger game. Not sure about the Dallas/Giants game lets see if Eli can make it 3 game in a row.
What I want to see:
JAX def NE
IND def SD
GB def SEA
NYG def DAL

The underdogs are getting no love this week...I'll make my picks a bit later in the week. I want to see if Terrell Owens is healthy and playing along with some other guys such as Antonio Gates or John Henderson on Jacksonville.

Jacksonville over New England - Going to be very tough to do, but if they can hit them early with the running game, they can hit them with some deep passes when the secondary is brought up...and being a Jaguars fan I just cannot pick against them.
Indianapolis over San Diego - The reports I hear have Antonio Gates not playing. Personally, even if he did play I am going with the DEFENDING CHAMPION Colts. They know how to get it done.
Seattle over Green Bay - The game that is getting the least coverage will probably turn out to be the greatest and closest. I really liked what I saw from the Seahawks' defense last week. They just need to get a little running game going, which I think they will, and they will win the game, slightly.
New York Giants over Dallas - I am really impressed by the Giants as of late on both sides of the ball. Terrell Owens is going to play, but the Giants already knew that. I think that at this point in the playoffs, the Giants are just a better team than the Cowboys.
I am ready for a great weekend.

The Jags can beat the Patriots if they establish their rush and utilize the play action pass and short, highly efficient dump passes.
They are known as clock eating monsters marching down the field taking up half a whole quarter. This must be repeated Saturday night to win.
Pros:
Patriots run defense is no where near as good as the numbers show. They gave up 4.4 per carry but teams abandoned the run because they'd get behind early so NE's total yards against didn't look so bad. The Jags are a team that can lay down 200 on the ground.
Special Teams for the Jags can quickly get them back in the game if they get behind and our kicker was the most accurate this season. Patriots punter sucks...we know, we cut him.
Cons:
Pass D will get us killed if we can't put pressure on Brady. I also suggest a rotating coverage scheme just to keep him guessing. If Brady has to guess, he'll make more mistakes than if he can solidly read the coverage.
It's gameday

lolerskates......"We want the ball and we're gonna score"
Lambeau is the toughest place to play in January.
[EDIT]
If Brett Favre is leaning toward returning for another season with the Packers, he hasn't discussed it yet with his coach. Mike McCarthy hardly seemed convinced comments from Favre to his hometown newspaper yesterday that he was leaning toward playing another season amounted to an official decision.
more stories like this
"I'm trying not to laugh, but I have not been part of any conversation with Brett on that topic," McCarthy said.
In a story posted on the website of the Biloxi (Miss.) Sun Herald, Favre said he isn't approaching tomorrow's playoff game against Seattle as if it will be his final game in Green Bay. "For the first time in three years, I haven't thought this could be my last game," Favre told the newspaper. "I would like to continue longer."
While it has been widely assumed he would play next season after having one of the best years of his career, Favre and McCarthy have said the quarterback would wait until after the season to address the issue again.
"I don't know anything about it, and I think it's someone just trying to distract my quarterback," McCarthy said.
Does Favre return if he wins, or does he only return if he loses(or is this just a rumor - he will retire)?

The Jags DEFENSE is BAD, even when it looked they had them stop for short gains there tackling was Pathetic.

Didn't they drop one or two TD passes? I know Northcutt did for sure.
you're not going to outscore the Pats with field goals.

oh lord, Indy blew it. I mean they had it in the fucking red zone with 2 minutes to play, and even got it back again at the end of the game.
Philip Rivers is fast becoming one of the players I can't stand.
Volek took them down and scored to take the lead. So SD won with their backup QB and RB for a significant part of the game
