The rules are simple. Create the ultimate band out of the musicians you love.

The only catch is, none of the musicians can have played together before.

The person after you then rates it and gives on of their own.

I'll start.

Vocals
Scott Weiland (Velvet Revolver, Stone Temple Pilots)
Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals
The Edge (U2)
Rhythm Guitar/Backing Vocals
John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
Bass
Jared Followill (Kings of Leon)
Drums/Backing Vocals
Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters)

All these players can be quite arty and experimental when they want to be, something that is a big factor for me. However, they all know how to pump out a good solid rock song. The middle ground of those two factors is what I'd love to hear from these guys.

I really like the addition of John Butler, who i think is a pretty good rocker.

Overall, id say the weak link is Thom Yorke as i dont necessarily like his songwriting for the most part. A little too artsy for me. 8/10

Working on band...

Vocals:
Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer)

Lead Guitar:
Omar Rodríguez-López (The Mars Volta, At the Drive-In)

Rhythm Guitar/Vocals:
Matthew Bellamy (Muse)

Bass/Vocals:
Roger Waters (Pink Floyd)

Drums:
Keith Moon (The Who)

None of these guys really come from the same style of music, although its all rock in general. I just feel that the teaming of Bellamy and Keenan could make for some awe inspiring music to listen to as far as vocals, and Lopez is a beast on the guitar and is wild enough to make some unique rhythms and riffs. Keith Moon is a damn good drummer, and i think his outlandish playing style would fit very well. I like the addition of Waters on bass because he is competent enough to provide good bass but also has a profound lyrical ability and is a gifted musician in general. It would also be interesting to hear his voice compared to Keenan and Bellamy in a few tracks. Would this band work? Probably not, but damn it would be awesome if they made some really inspired albums.

BTW, the bands name would be "Out There with Rock", because i hope that is what they would make.

He was from Australian crawl, a fairly famous (domestically) Aussie rock band, they sang "errol" and "boys light up" and "reckless" and a heck of a lot more hits.

Here is one i made that would actually work:

Vocals:
Rob Zombie (White Zombie, Rob Zombie)

Lead Guitarist:
Billy Howerdel (APC, guitar tech for numerous)

Bass:
Robert DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots, Army of Anyone)

Drums:
David Silveria (Korn)

Im looking for something a little more rock and a little less out there from Zombie on this effort, but i feel his vocals can be very fun to listen to and has a great voice. I think Howerdel is a great addition because he knows how to rock but also knows how to compose slower songs as well. DeLeo is purportedly the main guy behind STP's many riffs, so i like his addition because him and Howerdel could really work off each other, not to mention he is a pretty good bassist in his own right. The reason i picked Silveria is for the sake of having a mesh guy on drums. He was the only member of Korn that didnt dress weird or have a nickname, and i like that alot. He is a competent drummer by all means, and i feel he would cause very little trouble.
