Main points:

- The PS3's processors are more powerful than the 360's yet are more bottlenecked with sophistication so it limits what they can do with it. The 360's processors however are more flexible and so they can be as creative as they like with it, and so the end products between the two are comparable.

- The Xbox 360's GPU is not more powerful, that's a myth. But, again, due to complications they're restricted with the PS3's one. However, because it has those powerful processors, they can use some of the SPU's to help with the graphical output, so once again, the end product is comparable.

- Blu-ray reads at a constant speed all over the disc. DVD is faster than BD at the edge of the disk but slower towards the middle.

- Bad ports on PS3 are developers fault. They don't know why early multiplatform games run worse on PS3, they guess possible reasons may be late devkits, rushed or late ports etc.

- The focus was on PS3 as 360 initially had more recognizable development tools. Focusing on PS3 first meant developers got greater experience with both platforms. Reality is that the game was not a port from PS3 to 360, but a multi-processor game being ported to both 360 and PS3.

- PS3 is not harder to develop for, just different.

- To fans who think the PS3 can't handle technically impressive visuals, they bring up Uncharted. They say while art style is subjective, Uncharted's technical merits can't be argued.

- They mention how when DVDs first appeared with games, they didn't think they'd fill them up, but in the end they did. They think it will be the same with Blu-ray.

- PS3 is technically more favorable, but because of the sophistication of the architecture it isn't so open to them, whereas with the 360 they can adapt their designs how they like.

- They speak of the positives and negatives of each console, which when compared, don't show any clear winner. However, when testing Burnout on both platforms, they realized there "is so much power to be untapped by both" that you won't see either peaking any time soon.

Safe set of answers don't fuel the unnecessary flames of fanboi wars :)

Pretty much standard. They give nods to each. When we see answers along these lines one has to wonder if this isnt more of a PR session than it is developers speaking their mind.
